Kristen Santesson

Kristen has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been an Early Childhood educator for 9 years. She is currently working on her National Boards for Early Childhood. She has always had a passion for teaching our youngest learners. Kristen has taught Pre-K, Kinder, and First Grade and is excited to begin this new chapter with Fundamentals. Kristen is a learner at heart and is anxious to learn with her new family.

Michelle Baer
Operations Manager

Michelle has her Master’s degree in Technology Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education Reading. She also holds a Kindergarten Endorsement. Michelle has taught Early Five’s, Kindergarten and First Grade over her 22-year teaching career. Michelle is excited to begin a “new learning adventure” with Fundamentals.

Ashley Dodson
Executive Lead/Lead Preschool Teacher

Ashley has her Bachelor’s Degree in Multicultural Early Childhood Education. Ashley has had experience with a variety of age groups and brings creative ideas to our new learners. Ashley is excited to help with the development of all the learners and families here at Fundamentals. Our little learners really enjoy her.

Deirdre Dawes
Lead Waddler/Toddler I Teacher

Deirdre has her Associates degree in Psychology and comes to us with a wealth of experience. Deirdre has worked at another center here in Farmington, and enjoys the youngest of learners. Deirdre brings her fun, and energetic personality to our Fundamentals family, and is able to attend to our little learners, and learn their “language” very quickly.

Tina Goodrick-Lee
Lead Infant Teacher

Tina comes to us with her CDA. She brings many years of experience having owned her own "in home" daycare in California, working with the Head Start Program, and raising six children of her own. Tina is excellent at bringing a nurturing and calm environment to our smallest of learners. Tina provides our babies with lots of love and cuddles. Tina enjoys interacting with our little ones and helping them grow and learn through song, fingerplays, and stories. We feel very blessed to have Tina at Fundamentals.

Chantal Sanchez
Assistant Preschool Teacher

Chantal has begun her course work in Early Childhood Education. She brings experience as an assistant in an Elementary school, as well as tutoring experience from Sylvan Learning Center. Ms. Chantal has a very nurturing, and calm personality, which all our learners gravitate too.

LeAndra Lee
Lead Toddler II Teacher

LeAndra has her Bachelors in Psychology. She is currently working towards her masters in art therapy. LeAndra has worked in a Head Start facility in Durango, CO. She is looking forward to seeing the developmental progress with each child, and sharing lots of laughs and fun with the kids. We are so lucky she has joined our family.

Lindsey Segura
Assistant Waddler/Toddler I Teacher

Lindsey has her Associates Degree in Human Services. She worked as a student intern at the San Juan College Child Development Center. Lindsey has a bubbly, and friendly personality. Our learners have all bonded to her very quickly.

Kaitlin Hespe
Infant Floater

Kaitlin has volunteered at Elementary schools and has a 2-year old daughter. She is looking forward to becoming a member of our learning family and helping to teach the children in our school. We are happy to welcome Kaitlin into our center!

Tamra Briggs
Substitute Teacher

Tamra has her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, and has been working with children since 2004. She has experience with all ages of learners. Tamra is excited to work with children again after being home with her own daughter for a year. She looks forward to working as a team and helping to enrich children's little minds. Tamra has a natural, nurturing nature with children, and brings a wonderful presence to our learning family.

Jordanne Thomas
Assistant Preschool Teacher

Jordanne brings her college experience and studies in Early Childhood to Fundamentals. She is also the mother of a 3-year old spirited son who enjoys learning! Jordanne is looking forward to the knowledge and experience she will gain from working with the different age groups in our learning center.

Sheressa Williams
Substitute Teacher

Sheressa has her Associate’s degree in Psychology and is currently working on her Bachelor’s. She brings a variety of experience with her in working with children. She has worked in a Church Nursery, and in an elementary school. She also volunteered to assist with a youth basketball team, and is the oldest child in her family! Sheressa is looking forward to discovering herself as it pertains to children, and to getting to know the families and staff at Fundamentals!

Alyssa Wagner
Preschool Floater

Alyssa comes to Fundamentals with a B.S. in Earth and Planetary Sciences. She has had many opportunities to work with children. Alyssa worked at San Juan College’s Child and Family Development Center while attending college. She also worked at the library in the children’s department for four years where she developed activities and stories for the children’s story time. Alyssa volunteered at local schools in Guatemala and Peru during summer breaks, while attending school. She is excited to meet all learners and watch them on their journey of growth, development and discovery! We feel very fortunate to have Alyssa as a part of our team!

Michelle Cayadito

Michelle is currently obtaining her CDC and has worked for several years in a child center. She was privileged to work with children of all ages from 12 months to early 5’s. Michelle is looking forward to gaining experience with children and working in a positive work environment. We are excited and blessed to have Michelle join our Fundamentals’ Team!

Adrianna Tsosie
Substitute Teacher

Adrianna is currently attending college. She has worked with many children during her Senior year at Crown Point. She enjoyed helping the children with homework and making sure they were safe. Adrianna is looking forward to learning more about our Reggio philosophy and how to help the children grow mentally and physically. We are excited to have Adrianna join our learning family!

Deanna Lee
Assistant Toddler II Teacher

Deanna joins Fundamentals with her Associate’s in Early Childhood and Human Services Criminal Justice. Deanna previously worked at Promise Land. She is an active volunteer with the Court Appointed Special Advocate program (CASA). Deanna has also worked with the Farmington Boys and Girls Club, with children ages 5-17 years. Deanna is excited to implement the Reggio Approach and experience the positive changes Conscious Discipline will make in children. She feels truly blessed to be a part of the Fundamentals’ Team; and we feel the same way about her.
