Our preschool program is a blended schedule of small group, whole group, and project based choice time. Small group time focuses on the early literacy and numeracy skills needed to begin preparing for their more academic time in grade school. All activities are open-ended and play based to keep our little learners engaged. Our project based choice time offers exploratory options for our learners to develop their critical thinking, and problem solving skills. We follow our learners lead during this time and engage with them in their own learning experiences. We are always learning something new together. Parents will receive real-time alerts throughout the day to inform them of their little one’s daily activities such as meals, moods, sleep patterns, and learning activities. Parents will participate in a pre-conference upon entering our program to discuss the expectations and goals for their child’s preschool program.

Typical Preschool/Half-Day Program Days Include:
Half Day Program runs: 9:00-12:00 M/W/F or 9:00-12:00 T/R or M-F 9:00-12:00

• 4 Directed small group activities
  - Focus on early literacy/numeracy skills
  - Examples include: phonics, phonemic awareness, letter knowledge, journal and story writing, counting, problem solving, quantity comparison
• Interactive play and exploration
• 2-3 Short whole group learning- news of the day, interactive writing, discussion of project time and learning centers, community building
• Learning areas and project play
• Open ended art projects
• Sensory activities
• Family style snacks and meals
• Cooking activities
• Rest and relaxation (only for Full day Preschool)
